Ships were not made to remain in the safe harbor; they were made to sail, to cross the wide, vast seas and oceans.
Imagine if ships didn't leave their safe zone because they were afraid to sink, or because they didn't want to bother and cross the oceans.
The world will not be the same, trade will be dead, and a lot more damage will be done.
It might sound from the above as if ships were a living creatures, they're not, and yet still they have to leave the safety of the harbor in order to function, and to contribute to the world.
Same goes to you, you need to get out of your comfort zone, you need to apply Nike's motto "just do it!" , try and learn new things, build stuff, explore, discover, dream and make your dreams come true, work hard and smart.
